6 Motion DirectDrive ist eine besondere Motor- bzw. Antriebsart, welche von LG Electronics in Waschmaschinen und Waschtrocknern verbaut wird. Die Geräte mit einer solchen Trommel realisieren besondere Waschbewegungen, die durch spezielle Aufhängung der Trommel ermöglicht werden.

Der DirectDrive Motor ist ein Invertermotor mit Direktantrieb für Waschmaschinen und -trockner. Dieser Motor verwendet keine Keilriemen, sondern ist direkt mit der Trommel verbunden.
